Ken Cruise
Wealth Advisor
Ken Cruise joined The Virtus Group in September 2021. Ken attended Boston College, graduating cum laude with his Bachelor of Arts in Mathematics and Economics in 2014 before joining the Retirement consulting practice at Willis Towers Watson.
Through his work in Retirement, he became a member of a specialized team that actively searched for innovative and implementable ways to address the cost and risks associated with pension plan sponsorships in current economic conditions, collectively aiding clients through multi-billion dollar de‐risking transactions. In addition to tactical de-risking, Ken developed a specialty in delegated investment solutions, working to develop strategic allocation strategies to systematically reduce pension investment risk.
Having worked at The Virtus Group as a summer intern between 2010-2013, Ken returned in September 2021 as an aspiring advisor. He has since obtained his Series 7 and Series 66 FINRA licenses (held with LPL Financial) with plans to continue as a candidate for the CFA Charter.
Prior to returning home to Rhode Island, Ken lived in Boston and the San Francisco Bay Area. He shares his family’s passion for New England sports, having grown up playing hockey with the youth program Edgewood and later part of East Greenwich High School’s 2007 state championship team.
